I accedently deleated my touchpad driver from my laptop and now the touchpad does nothing I have tried reinstalling it from the HP website over and over and restarting my notebook and it does nothing now all of the sudden there is a exclamation mark next to the keyboard driver and it isn’t working I’ve tried fixing it and it says it’s up to date. Can someone please help me my laptop is just falling apart and I really need it for school.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

While I wait for the answers, I recommend you update the bios and the chipset driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue to face the issue, I recommend you download and install HP support assistant from the below link and run all the update and test.
