Hello! I recently bought a laptop HP 14-ep0012nq and my touchpad does not work. And I can't even connect to a wireless network. My network appears and I select it from the arrows, I press enter and nothing happens.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Laptop 14-ep0012nq is experiencing multiple issues with its touchpad and WiFi functionality. Let's troubleshoot step by step:
1. Touchpad Not Working

- Press it in combination with the Fn key to toggle the touchpad on/off.
Update Touchpad Drivers:
- Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Mice and other pointing devices section.
- Look for your touchpad driver (e.g., "Synaptics" or "ELAN").
- Right-click on it and select Update Driver > Search automatically for drivers.
- If no updates are found, visit the HP Support website to download the latest drivers for your model.
Enable Touchpad in Settings:

Forget and Reconnect to the Network:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > WiFi.

- Click Check for updates and install any available updates.
Update HP Drivers and BIOS:
- Download and install HP Support Assistant from HP's website.
- Use it to check for and install driver or BIOS updates.
4. Test in Safe Mode
- Boot your laptop in Safe Mode to determine if the issue is caused by third-party software:
- Press Win + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.
- Under the Boot tab, check Safe boot and select Network.
- Restart your laptop.
If the touchpad or WiFi works in Safe Mode, it may indicate a driver conflict or software issue.
5. Perform a System Reset (if necessary)
If the above steps don't resolve the issue, consider performing a system reset:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery.
- Under Reset this PC, click Get started.
