Spectre
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Today my trackpad developed a deadspot. On the right side of the trackpad it will not reconize my inputs. This makes the trackpad completely unusable. I tried restarting and disabling and renanabling the trackpad. It is clear that it is a hardware issue. I am able to plug in a wireless mouse so the laptop is still usable. I want to get this fixed. I bought it around 3 months ago so I think I am still under a limited waranty.

Eventually I was able to solve this problem. The cause of the trackpad malfuction was that my hands sweat too much and some of that water got under the trackpad and caused it to malfunction. The solution was waiting about a day for the water to dry up. After that time the trackpad resumed its normal function.

I have had this problem repeat itsself a few times. Each time I  think I finally broke my laptop. I then wait for a few hours to a day and then it begins working again. This problem is definetly related to moisture.
