I need to get a new computer.  I'd like to transfer my files/data so I can use the new one just like I do on this one -- including all my emails and folders, bookmarks, address book, all that -- and all the software I've downladed and paid for, startup programs, etc.  Is there any software to do that?  Is it USB to USB, or something else?

The simple answer is NO -- there is no way to transfer all the things you list to a new PC.

There are a couple of third-party apps that will be able to transfer MOST of what you listed, but neither of them guarantee that ALL the apps can be transferred, and BOTH of them cost money.

The two I know about are:

1) EaseUS ToDo PC transfer

2) Laplink PC Mover Pro

The free versions of these allow you to transfer settings and data, but only the PAID versions allow you to transfer apps.
