Good afternoon,
I tried to install two updated drivers for my laptop from the download section, but it occurred problems with two ones:
- Driver nr. SP72396 (Intel Installation Framework) -> "the system hasn't mininum requirements for installing";
- Driver nr. SP72085 (Intel Trusted Execution Engine Installer) -> "platform not supported"
For both ones I proceed as following:
- download driver from HP webpage;
- extract the zip package in my hdd;
- close all opened app;
- launch the setup .exe as administrator.
All other drivers were installed successfully.
My internet connection is wi-fi.
Thank you,
best regards

I understand you are having issues with updating the drivers on your HP notebook. Don't worry as I have a few steps which should help you resolve this issue.
Let's start off by installing the Intel® Driver Update Utility. This Utility keeps your system up-to-date, detecting which driver updates are relevant to your computer.
If the issue persists then you may also install the Intel® Management Engine (Intel® ME) Software.
NOTE: This Installs the Intel® Management Engine (Intel® ME) software for systems based on 3rd generation Intel® Processors or above. The Intel ME software components that need to be installed depending on the system's specific hardware and firmware features. The installer detects the system's capabilities and installs the relevant drivers and applications.
Please respond to this post with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hearing from you.
Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,

Good afternoon @Jeet_Singh,
I installed the Intel Driver Update Utility, launched the .exe as administrator and scanned for updates: result is that I have a customized graphics driver that utility isn't able to update (not recommended to update). I don't know if issue for Intel ME is solved: how can I check this one? and there is possibility to fix the other driver that I posted in my first message?
thank you,
best regards
Davide

Hi @Davidinoo__82,
Thank you for replying,
I appreciate your time and efforts,
I understand you have tried to install Intel driver update utility, and it looks like it seems to have worked however, you are not sure if this has completely fixed the issue or not. Don't worry as I have a few other suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.
I would like to know why do you want to update in the first place, do you get any error message?
If you still want to perform an update,
I would suggest please update the BIOS on your PC and check if it helps.
Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.
Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.
I hope this should do the trick. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.
Cheers!

Hello Jeet,
thanks for reply. I want the update because for me is best to work with a PC with customized updated drivers (on Windows 10). So, I updated the BIOS but the drivers of the post don't work anymore. With HP support assistant, I don't know if is the same that download and install drivers from HP website. For HP assistant, my pc is currently updated.
Thank you,
best regards
Davide
