HP Recommended

Probably asking this in the wrong venue but help not found elsewhere. I am an adult living alone and somehow my computer has parental controls enabled. I have found no straightforward instructions on removing the parental controls. The only setting labeled parental controls shows the setting to be OFF. But something is screening the browsing.  Ideas?
