ProBook 6460b
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I wiped the hard drive during the proses of installing Linux and now the BIOS seems to be gone. I only get diagnostic options at boot and no way to boot into Linux from the internal hard drive.

I tried to Create a USB recovery drive following these instructions:

using a different HP laptop running windows 7 but I'm stuck on step 8: "Choose to remove or keep the files after the recovery, and then click Next to open the HP BIOS Update and Recovery window." The "HP BIOS Update and Recovery window" never opens up and none of the extracted files opens a similar window as shown in the steps. Attaching the list of extracted files.

Please advise.

Thanks!
