Im wondering if I can delete the hpswsetup and swsetup folders in the root of c drive to save space. also what are they both used for thanks?

Please copy or backup them to an external USB drive before delete them. Deleting them won't help you much and you WILL get to problem running out of specs again because your machine has only a tiny drive for storage.
Hope this makes sense.
Regards.

ok thanks do you know what they are both for? I've heard that the swsetup one was for driver installers but wasn't sure about the hpswsetup. can I delete without backing them up as i can just re download drivers if needed in the future.

Also, the community Win10 Forums has the following suggestions:

Finally, there is a freeware app known as Wise Disk Cleaner. I use it every day to get rid of junk files: https://www.wisecleaner.com/wise-disk-cleaner.html
