Can anyone tell me how to turn off the auto capitalization feature. I am using Office365 Word and do not want the capital letter to automatically appear on the next line when I hit enter.

Office Word controls the content within the document.

For example:

Word document > File > Options > Proofing

Under AutoCorrect options > AutoCorrect Options

I believe these are instructions for a windows word system not chromebook os word. Those directions do not seem to apply to office365 word for the operating system on my chromebood, but thanks anyway.

You are welcome.

Yes, Office 365 might be different as might Word based in a different Operating System.

I would expect that Office Word 365 might at least have a "Tell me what you want to do" onboard help option.

Chromebook does provide its own language and setup.

Less likely than the "first letter uppercase" control for Word being, well - within Word:

If available, there might be a relevant Chrome OS "Settings" option that provides typing options.

For example (and I realize this is useless), in Windows:

Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard > Typing Settings

How to Customize Your Chromebook’s Keyboard and Touchpad

??

Rats.
