Product: HP Omen 15t 2016(Skylake i7)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have an hp omen 15t 2016 skylake i7 ax033. My problem is that recently my keyboard, on board and all external) will get locked up after X amount of time or if some program opens. Not sure what the cause is. But locked up i mean i cant type, all keys on the built in keyboard don't respond or work, except the brightness up/down, airplane mode on off(or F12) keys. I havent chamed any settings recently and started a Kaspersky and avira scan (full) on my computer. The when my laptop locked, (i have the press del+control+alt keys to open the login screen) but when my laptop locked out automatically, i couldnt log back in, the keys wooildnt work. I did a hard reset and waited some time w/ no ac cord plugged in or external components. I tried system restore and it did not complete successfully. Tried again aith no anti viruses online, failed again. The thing is though, the keyboard works normally after bootup for X amount of time b4 it locks up. Help plz, questions welcome. Thanks

Hi,
What all security softwares are installed in your system? Uninstall all of them temporarily.
Can you use the keyboard keys normally from BIOS/UEFI setup by tapping ESC or f10 key as soon as you power on laptop?
Could you do a keyboard test from BIOS/UEFI by tapping F2 key as you power on laptop?
If both above are giving positive response,
If you are willing, I would suggest you to factory reset Windows by tapping f11 key as you power on laptop. You've to back up your data before reset.
