Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

URGENT😧

HP Pavillion-15-cs3019nr running Microsoft 10 (64bit). Taking an on-line class through a community college using Cengage software. Came upon instruction to press F4. When I do that a side panel opens up that reads "Project" at the top that has nothing to do with Excel. What is happening? I am sure this is not what the instructor meant to come up. URGENT! Need to complete assignment and I am stuck!!!

To be able to use normal function keys with Excel, you have to hold down Fn key first OR you have to disable Fn key BUT you may not be able to use some hot keys which are designed for your machine.
