USB-IF xHCI USB Host Controller
08-29-2021 08:38 AM

I'm using Hp envy 6 sleekbook and there's a problem: USB-IF xHCI USB Host Controller is not working properly. I tried updating the driver on Device Manager but the problem remains after it has been updated.
I cannot open my medical documents on the usb and this is very frustrating,, because I cannot book dr visit without them.

Hi:
Your notebook's model series was not supported by HP for W10.
The problem is that there are no standalone W10 USB drivers, so none exist that you can try to install.
You may want to right click on the problem device, select uninstall, check the uninstall driver box, restart the PC and see if W10 installs the driver correctly.
If that doesn't work see if installing the Intel chipset driver gets the USB ports to work again.
9.4.0.1026

If that doesn't work either, you can try clean installing W10, or reinstall Windows 8.1.
