Product Name: HP Pavilion x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-ek0000 (54B26AV)
All my USB ports aren't delivering any power and I have tried everything. One day my USBS worked then the next day my USB ports were on and off until it stopped. I looked at the ports and the motherboard and they look all right. My USB-C works perfectly. Can someone please help me out?

Hi @Mohamad_Haek124,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to have your USB ports suddenly stop delivering power. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.
Check Power Settings:
- Sometimes, power settings can affect USB port functionality. Go to Device Manager:
- Right-click on the Start button and select "Device Manager."
- Expand "Universal Serial Bus controllers."
- Right-click on each "USB Root Hub" and select "Properties."
- Go to the "Power Management" tab and make sure the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.
- Click "OK" and repeat for all USB Root Hubs.
Update USB Drivers:
- Outdated or corrupted USB drivers can cause issues. Update your USB drivers:
- Again in Device Manager, right-click on each "USB Root Hub" and select "Update driver."
- Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software."
BIOS Update:
- Sometimes, BIOS updates can resolve hardware issues. Visit HP's official website for your laptop model and check if there are any BIOS updates available.
Power Cycle the Laptop:
- Shut down your laptop completely.
- Unplug the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
- Hold down the power button for 30 seconds to drain residual power.
- Reinsert the battery (if removable), plug in the power adapter, and turn on the laptop.
Check Power Adapter:
- Ensure that the power adapter you are using provides sufficient power to the laptop. Faulty adapters can sometimes cause issues with USB ports.
Hardware Diagnostics:
- Use HP's built-in hardware diagnostics tool to check for any hardware issues, including USB ports. You can usually access this by pressing a specific key during startup (often F2, F10, Esc, or Del).
Check for Physical Damage:
- Inspect the USB ports and the surrounding area for any physical damage or debris that could be causing a connection issue.
System Restore or Reset:
- If the issue started after a recent software update or installation, you may consider performing a system restore to a point before the issue occurred. Alternatively, a system reset can also help if the problem persists.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, there may be a hardware fault with the USB controller or related components.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
