I have an Envy x360 2 in 1 laptop, eye-00x. I have two ports for USB. One port works, the other is defunct.

I went to Device Manager, uninstalled both USB root Hubs as instructed by Microsoft, and rebooted.

Windows 11 only located one USB port, but not the other. There is no reference to "Unknown Device" and basic

troubleshooting does not recognize a 2nd USB port.

In Device Manager, there are 2 controllers, 2 composite devices, but only 1 root hub. So now, the USB port on the left side is completely useless. Gone.

IS there a way to correct this, or is it a hardware failure?
