(1) Run msinfo32
- Select <System Summary>:

1. Make sure your DVD drive is correctly connected
Before you do anything else, check again that your DVD drive is properly connected to the computer. This doesn't sound like the cause of your problem, but it can at least help you eliminate a possibility.
Besides, there are actually some cases where users plugged in wrong ports. To connect DVD drive to PC correctly, you can refer to the user manual of motherboard.
If the problem still exists after confirmation, you can move to next method.
2. Updates Windows 10 to the newest version
If you find DVD not detected in Windows 10 right after a system upgrade, this issue is very likely to be fixed in the next update. So you can check your system to see if you’ve upgraded to the latest version.
