Dear all,
I installed Windows 7-64 bit (after windows 8.1) in my laptob hp pavilion. Model (15-n225se). after installation some of USB ports do not work. in the device maneger i found that there is unknown device not installed (code28) and the hardware lds shows:
IUSB3\ROOT_HUB30&VID_8086&PID_9C31&REV_0004&SID_2166103C
IUSB3\ROOT_HUB30&VID_8086&PID_9C31&REV_0004
IUSB3\ROOT_HUB30&VID_8086&PID_9C31
please help as soon as possible.

Installing this driver and restarting the PC, should resolve the USB problem...
This package contains the Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81001-81500/sp81158.exe
For the Unknown Device, please post the hardware ID for it so I can figure out what driver it needs.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...
