Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
I am using HP Pavilion dv6-7039tx Notebook PC . OS is Windows 7.
USB3 port has suddenly stopped working.
Unable to connect my External HDD and take Backups or access earlier data .
The USB2 ports are working, but are very slow for backups on external HDD.
HP site says - This Model is retired and hence no Drivers are Available. I tried updating USB Controller & Root Hub Drivers from 3rd party web links.
They were not OK. All USB ports stopped working.
Reinstalled the Drivers from Original HP S/W dump, Now USB2 ports are again working, but USB3 still inactive.
Kindly advise how to make USB3 functional again.
