HP Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I booted up my notebook to do something on it, and noticed that, despite having been plugged in for quite a while, it was at 57% charge.  I looked this up and it was suggested that I need to calibrate my battery, since obviously a 4 year old notebook is going to have lost some of its charge.  To do this, I was directed to first install the HP PC Hardware Diagnostic tool, and then run it.  I installed it, but every time I try to run it, I just get a window with a header bar with "to help protect your security your web browser has restricted this file".  I've got no idea how to get rid of this, I read that it's apparently an issue with Internet Explorer, which I've since gone in and disabled the offending setting and completely disabled IE, but it still happens.

Any suggestions?

Also, try updating the computer -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Try running the program now.
