Product: HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-0150xt CTO
I want to install Linux Mint and dual-boot it with Windows. To do this, I have to change the storage controller configuration from Intel RST to AHCI. The option to do this in the BIOS is greyed out and I can’t select it (see below).
I need to change this or disable RST to install Linux, but so far I’m stuck. Is there a way to enable the option without flashing the BIOS?

HP provides no support for Linux distros, including installation, configuration, or BIOS/UEFI changes needed.
Your best bet is to contact the support forum for the Linux distro you are wanting to install and use.
