Hi Everyone, I have been attempting to install windows 11 on a new Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fb1xxx (9T020U8) to no avail. Although I have tried using a brand new USB with Windows 11 installed this was purchased in a computer shop and also created another bootabke USB via Media Creation fille, tried to download all HP recomended drivers and still something is missing. The issue is that is it not stipoulated what driver is missing so do not know what to do next. Any support with this would be greatly appreciate it.

@Victus_MB, Welcome to the HP Support Community – it’s great to have you here!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your question. I'm more than happy to assist with this and provide a solution that works for you.

I understand you're facing trouble installing Windows 11 on your Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fb1xxx due to missing drivers, and the system isn’t specifying which ones. Let’s walk through the steps to resolve this:

Use HP's Official Driver Page

Download all necessary drivers directly from HP’s support page for your exact model: Official HP® Support

Make sure to:

  • Select Windows 11 as the OS.
  • Download Chipset, Storage/RAID, Graphics, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth drivers first.
  • Install HP UWP drivers (Universal Windows Platform) if available.

Use HP Support Assistant

Install HP Support Assistant to automatically detect and install missing drivers after Windows setup. HP Support Assistant | HP® Support

Fix Storage Driver Issue (If Setup Doesn’t Detect Drive)

If Windows setup doesn’t detect your SSD, it may need the AMD RAID or NVMe driver:

  • Go to the HP driver page above.
  • Download Storage Controller / AMD RAID Driver.
  • During Windows setup, click Load Driver and browse to the extracted folder on your USB.

Use Media Creation Tool (Recommended)

If the USB from the shop doesn’t work, recreate it using Microsoft’s official tool: Download Windows 11

Use GPT partitioning and UEFI boot mode in BIOS:

  • Press F10 at startup → Go to Boot Options → Enable UEFI and Secure Boot.

Optional: BIOS Update

Check if a BIOS update is available on the HP driver page. Updating BIOS can improve hardware compatibility during OS installation.

I hope your issue is now resolved. If not, feel free to reply and we’ll continue helping until everything’s sorted!
