Product: HP Spectre
Hi, I had been using function keys (F1-F12) on my HP Spectre notebook for quite some time, but recently it changed to the mode that I need to press an Fn key. I am unable to switch it back to the Fn-locked behaviour. I searched a lot (including HP support page) and tried these tips that I found:
- BIOS setup - the option for this behaviour is there but regardless of whether i select Disabled or Enabled it doesn't make any difference - still requires pressing the Fn key to get F5.
- Left Alt-Shift - doesn't work either, tried pressing long, short - nothing works, But surprisingly this works fine on my other HP laptop.
I am not sure if there is a coincidence, but seems to have stopped working after upgrading to Windows 11.
Can anyone help? It is sooo annoying. 😞
