Hi all,
I recently bought a hp probook 450 G6 with 256gb ssd , 16 gb ram and 2gb nvidia MX130.
I now run into the issue that my probook is using the intel 620 graphics as default, and i can't find any way to change this.
I already tried changing nvidia settings , and turning all the intel settings to high performance, disableling intel 620 in device manager etc. Also all my drivers are up to date. Nothing works...
Why is there an Nvidia graphics card in my probook if i cannot use it??? Was this a waste of money?

Your notebook has what is known as Switchable Graphics -- and this is done by the OS, not manually.
When your notebook is doing something that demands the processing power of the Nvidia video chip, it will automatically switch to using that.
With Switchable Graphics, there is no manual overrride.
