I turned on my Laptop and I found unable to find the Bluetooth ON/OFF in the menu, and later realized I can't find it in the Device manager either; how do I fix this issue and restore bluetooth connectivity?

Hi @inertial01,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand your HP Envy laptop is not showing Bluetooth options in the settings or Device Manager, and you’re unable to turn it on. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this and restore Bluetooth connectivity.
Check for Hidden Bluetooth Devices in Device Manager
Press Windows + X → Device Manager.
Click on View → Show hidden devices.
If Bluetooth appears, right-click it and select Enable device.
If it still doesn’t show, proceed to the next step.
Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter
Go to Settings → System → Troubleshoot → Other troubleshooters.
Find Bluetooth and select Run.
Follow the on-screen instructions — this can automatically detect and fix common issues.
Check Windows Services
Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
Locate Bluetooth Support Service and ensure it’s running and set to Automatic.
If it’s stopped, right-click → Start, then restart your computer.
Install or Reinstall Bluetooth Drivers
Visit HP Support → Drivers & Software (https://support.hp.com).
Enter your laptop model (HP Envy + model number) and download the latest Bluetooth and Wireless drivers.
Install the drivers, restart the laptop, and check if Bluetooth appears in Device Manager again.
Update BIOS and Chipset Drivers
Outdated BIOS or chipset drivers can cause the Bluetooth adapter to disappear.
From the same HP Support page, download and install the latest BIOS and Chipset drivers for your model.
Restart the system after installation.
I hope this helps.
