Hi @Cedalton23,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue with an app on your computer. I would request you to please follow the steps:

Safe Mode Boot:

  • Restart your computer and press the F8 key (or Shift + F8) repeatedly before Windows starts to load.
  • Choose "Safe Mode" from the Advanced Boot Options menu. This will boot your computer with minimal resources and might allow you to remove the app without interference.

Use Control Panel for Uninstallation:

  • Click on the "Start" menu and select "Control Panel".
  • Go to "Programs and Features".
  • Look for the app "PC App Store" in the list, select it, and click on "Uninstall". Follow the onscreen instructions to remove the app.

Remove Startup Entries

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  • Go to the Startup tab.
  • Disable anything related to “PC App Store” or unknown publishers.

System Restore:

  • If the situation persists, you might want to perform a system restore to roll back your computer to a time before the app was installed.
  • Search for "System Restore" in the Start menu, follow the prompts and select a restore point dated before the current issue started.

Take care and have an amazing day!
