Unable to Uninstall the latest version of "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI – v10.1.0.0" after not supporting/working in my 'HP Notebook 15-bw0xx series' AMD Processor laptop. I installed it bcz I want to upgrade it from the "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI Version: 7.6.2.0 Rev. A", for Operating systems: Windows 10(64-bit), Win10 1901, Win10 1909, Release date: Jun 12, 2020, File name: sp104365.exe (42.7 MB)" downloaded from official HP Driver & support website.
Exact Detail: After installing v10.1.0.0, Restarting PC, F2 continuous pressed then the Diagnostics window shows that:
Version 1.24.0.0 - BIOS
For more information, please visit: www.hp.com/go/techcenter/PCDiags.
[Memory Test]
[Hard Drive Check]
[Language]
[Exit]
Big confusion bcz it should show many/new types of testing options not just 2. Thus, I think v10.1.0.0 only supports new PCs/Desktops only & will never support old Notebook or, Other Laptop/Desktop computers. Now, trying my best to uninstall it to install back v7.6.2.0 Rev. A, which was shown properly in Diagnostics windows with many testing options.
HP can provide latest HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI and BIOS software for OLD BUILD PCs, for years thinking about multiple level worldwide Customers as welfare. Bcz these 2 software's purposes are to test PCs out of Operating system during Booting/Restarting. Thanks:
