Uninstall Mcafee before or after Windows Update?

I asked a question how to set up and install in order with a new laptop.

Nobody has answered it yet, but my other question is if I want to uninstall Mcafee antivirus and use Avast and Malwarebytes insteas then do I uninstall Mcafee before or after doing my very first Windows Update after booting up my laptop very first time?

I will be better to uninstall the antimalware software before your update. Otherwise you may have to unistall it twice. After that you can dowload and install the antimalware software you desire.
