Hi @APUIT,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you are encountering a sequence error during the uninstallation of HP Wolf Security on the HP Wolf Security-Console, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue.

Restart your Computer: Sometimes, simply restarting your computer can resolve software-related issues.

Run the Uninstaller as Administrator:

  • Right-click on the HP Wolf Security-Console icon or shortcut.
  • Select "Run as administrator" from the context menu.
  • Follow the uninstallation process again.

Use the HP Removal Tool: HP often provides specialized removal tools for their software. These tools are designed to thoroughly remove all traces of their software from your system. Visit the HP support website and look for a removal tool specifically for HP Wolf Security or the security suite you're trying to uninstall. Download and run the tool as administrator.

Check for Dependencies: Sometimes, security software has dependencies on other components. Ensure that all related services, processes, and software are stopped or uninstalled before attempting to remove HP Wolf Security.

Safe Mode Uninstall:

  • Boot your computer into Safe Mode. This will prevent unnecessary services and drivers from loading during the uninstallation process.
  • Try running the uninstaller in Safe Mode.
  • To boot into Safe Mode, you can usually press the F8 key during the computer's startup process and select "Safe Mode" from the advanced startup options.

Remember to back up any important data before making significant changes to your system, especially when dealing with security software. Removing security software without a replacement can leave your computer vulnerable to threats, so consider installing an alternative security solution if you decide to remove HP Wolf Security.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
