I have been experiencing problem in uninstalling a couple of apps from my notebook. Even though I have been able to remove a couple of apps without any problem Xbox Game Bar has been giving me a hard time. The problem is that the Uninstall option is greyed out. Even after terminating the app and turning off permissions, I can't seem to get around with it.

After doing all this, I tried to restart but even after that the app is still there.

Can anyone please help me solve this issue?

Some applications are controlled by Windows.

This means that Windows decides which options are available.

If you cannot remove an application, switch off all the permissions for the app and then ignore it.

Examples

Settings > Apps > Apps and Features

Find / Search for Xbox Game Bar

Click Advanced > Remove (switch off) permissions

Settings > Apps > Apps and Features

Find / Search for Xbox Live

Click Advanced > Select Uninstall
