Hello.

I have a problem with this device. I need drivers for this device. Please help.

 

ACPI\VEN_HPIC&DEV_0003 

 

Windows 8.1 Pro (x64)

HP Laptop 15-ra073nw

Hi:

 

I believe that there are only W10 drivers for that device, but you can see if the W10 driver works for you...

 

I have zipped the driver file up and attached it below.

 

Download and unzip the file to its folder.

 

Do not do anything with the files in the folder.

 

Go to the device manager, click on the unknown ACPI\VEN_HPIC&DEV_0003 device.

 

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

 

Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the unzipped driver folder.

 

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install if it is supported for W8.1.

 

Then restart the PC.

 

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for that hardware ID...

Sorry that driver didn't work.

 

Unfortunately, you will either have to do without or upgrade to W10 Pro.

 

You may still be able to get the free upgrade to W10.

I don't think that not having that driver installed will cause a lot of issues for you.
