This guide came from a link in a thread where they were discussing the Braswell SATA Device Controller.  However, when they get into the discussion, they are identified by the Intel series instead of the Braswell name.  Since I do not know what the Braswell controller is in that regard, then just experiment with them all.

BTW: it used to be that Windows 7 Pro and Ultimate could run an emulated WinXP, perhaps that is a way past this problem.  Otherwise, you are pretty much stuck if the above tips do not work.

I did follow your previous post, read lorenzozanetti post and I downloaded HirensBoot.

I am farther studying as there are not instructions how to run CPU-Z without OS

mini XP started but after a short XP image got ito an error. Did not have time to write down the error code.

Yes, thread has strayed.  Sorry

Since there does not seem to be a way to unlock the BIOS, that I know of, perhaps try the suggestion of installing Windows 7 Pro and then run the WinXP in virtual mode.  I actually do not know if that is even supported anymore, however.  I had a Windows 7 Pro running that way and it was OK, but I did not use it much in the WinXP mode.

Unless someone else jumps in with an answer, I guess we are done.  Sorry

Is it so hard for HP to tell us how to unlock BIOS ?

As I said they already took money for the units.

Me and a lot of other frustrated CLIENTS/BUYERS hate this,

As I bought for my company about 7 HP laptops when changing time comes

I CAN GUARANTEE THAT I WILL NEVER BUY A HP PRODUCT

YESTERDAY I DID CHANGE MY HP PRINTER WITH Brother DCP-T700W

You wont believe it how good it is and instead of those drying cartriges it has ink tanks

and automatic function against drying through automatic cleaning depend on usage.

THAT THE EFFECT THEY GET Mocking the clients.
