Intel has an updated driver Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows* for my HP 17 Laptop. However, when I go to download it says that installing this graphics driver from Intel will remove customizations from your computer manufacturer (OEM). I cannot find a HP driver. Is it ok to go ahead and install.

It should be fine as long as your notebook only has the onboard Intel graphics adapter.
Before you install the driver from Intel, you may want to create a system restore point so you can go back to the currently installed driver if for some reason the driver from Intel doesn't work correctly.

I've used the graphics driver from Intel on several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PCs with the Intel graphics adapter and never had a problem with it.
