I am using HP 15 EF2126WM AMD for Some time. I am trying to add another hard drive  to my laptop. Recently I purchased a new Solid state drive to add it with my laptop. It doesn't have any space for a new SSD. I have two questions.

 

  1. How can I add SSD to my system
  2. Will it affect my warranty for this laptop

Hi:

 

HP only has the service manual for the older 15-ef0xxx model series.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 15 Laptop PC

 

According to chapter 1 of the manual, only M.2 SSD's are supported.

 

There are no provisions or parts to add a 2.5" drive.

 

If you need more storage space than the 256 GB NVMe SSD it came with, you will need to remove the 256 GB NVMe SSD and install one having a larger storage capacity.
