Pavilion m7

Good friends from the community. I recently installed the latest Windows 10 update but now I find that my USB 2.0 port has stopped working. It does not recognize any device, however in the configuration of the device manager everything appears as normal, there is no device with the absence of driver mark. I have an HP Pavilion m7 that originally came with windows 7. I need to be able to use the USB 2.0 port because I have HD that only work on that port. Awaiting help to solve this problem Thank you.

Hi@Naveda, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Hence the Product is obsolete at the end of support life. but USB ports is backward compatible its should work.

Check windows update?

check for the BIOS update?

check for installing the USB root hub from the devices manager.

Check on the different USB slots on the same notebook?

You can try updating the drivers using HP support assistant.

Refer this article to know more information about using HP support assistant.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
