HP Recommended

Hello, I would like to use MS Word on my new HP Chromebook 15, but I have had no luck.  I have a trial subscription of Word, I can open it and it is working.  Previously, I emailed a Word document I had made at work to myself at home and have saved it to my computer.  When I go into Word to open a document saved to my computer it says there is nothing there.  The only way I can open the document is in Google Docs. Thank you.
