I get a system error for AcclelerometerST.exe when I restart my computer. "code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." The problem doesn't seem to impact the operation of laptop. Do I need to fix and if so, how do I fix it

Hi,
Open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select Uninstall.
When this has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78001-78500/sp78033.exe

I have experienced this error since updating, at MS initiation, to Windows 10 Creators. I have tried uninstalling HP 3D DriveGuard, downloading HP 3D DriveGuard version 6.0.27.1 (from HP sp71708) & installing that version, but I still get a dialogue, on Windows startup, of AccelerometerST.exe System Error ... code cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll not found!
Another (associated?) error I am experiencing, since Creators update, is Windows not providing sign-on screen at startup; sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. If it doesn't, all I can do is shutdown & restart (& cross my fingers that this does not become a permanent problem)!
Unless someone can provide a reliable fix, I will need to either remove & leave removed HP 3D DriveGuard, or uninstall Windows 10 Creators update. I do not know which is the safer temporary solution, until i can get a permanent fix.
HPSA Bundled Software Troubleshooting provides no assistance on the HP 3D DriveGuard problems!
