Hi:
Please post the hardware ID for the fingerprint sensor that needs the driver.
I would probably be labeled as an Unknown Device.
Use this guide to find that information.

Hi Paul
I did find the correct Validity Sensors software 2.7.500 and it is a match for the one in another laptop that the sensor works ok on windows 10. Its a x16t-1200 product #NK135AV and has DigitalPersona Personal 4.01 version 4.0.1.3749. The NK133AV in devise manager it shows Biometric devises now Thanks but I cant find the DigitalPersona Personal program 4.01 to add to it yet. I remember how I found it when the NK135AV was upgraded to windows 10 last year but HP Support and Drivers web site doesn't show that info anymore. Can I copy the program from one laptop to the other?
Thank You

hi thank you for your help but for some reason, digital persona. Personal program comes up and when I try to add fingerprints. It says it doesn't see the reader. But it shows up in bio metrics as the validity sensor driver is there.I removed the pin as access to windows and added a password, and that works to boot up.but when booting up it says it sees the reader, when asknig for password apon setup.
