I have a Victus 15-fb0000 and the camera isn't working. When I first got it, I went to open my camera, I took a few photos. Then a few days I opened it and it stopped working. Afterwards I went to Device Manager and deleted the driver on accident or something, I guess. I can't seem to find a Webcam drive for my exact computer.
Currently, I wanna fix the issue, but whenever I open my camera it gives: 0xA00f4244<cameranotattached>. I've tried multiple ways to fix this following 10+ videos. I've done the Device Manager "Imaging Devices" SCSI Scanner Device update, I've tried turning off and on camera access, and some of the "ways to fix it" aren't working due to the software not appearing for me or certain services are not shown on my Device Manager. I was wandering if anyone can send me the link to the Webcam driver download link of my computer, as well as any other extra advice to fix this problem. The webcam name is "Webcam: HP Wide Vision HD Camera". Please help me fix this issue, thank you.

Hi @Relay09,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand you have trouble using the pc and getting webcam errors. Here's how you can fix the webcam issue on your Victus by HP 15-fb0000 laptop, including the missing HP Wide Vision HD Camera driver and the error 0xA00f4244.
1. Reinstall the Camera via Device Manager
If the camera is missing:
- Open Device Manager.
- Click Action > Scan for hardware changes.
- If it appears under Imaging Devices, right-click and choose Update driver.
- If not, go to View > Show hidden devices and check again.
2. Check Privacy Settings
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.
- Make sure Camera access and Let apps access your camera are turned on.
- Scroll down and ensure Camera access for desktop apps is enabled.
