I recently got an HP Victus laptop and was wondering if there's a way to set a limit on the battery charge, ideally between 60-80%. Since I mostly use the laptop while plugged in, I want to extend the battery's lifespan.

I know about the Adaptive Battery Optimizer, but I'm still not keen on the battery always charging to 100%.

I use the laptop for gaming and productivity, and it’s a hassle to unplug the charger once it hits a certain percentage, especially since the performance drops when I do.

Is there a way to automatically limit the charge to preserve the battery health while keeping performance intact when plugged in?

Hi @Wrooz

does not exist, only enterprise laptops have in the BIOS the option to limit the load. The rest will only be adaptive battery
