Hi @Hrusikesh,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP Notebook - 14s-cr1005tu is not detecting Wi-Fi after a BIOS update; this is likely due to a driver conflict or a BIOS setting reset. Here's how to fix it:
1. Reinstall the Wireless Driver
- Go to the official HP driver page for your model:
👉 HP Notebook - 14s-cr1005tu Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support - Under Driver-Network, download and install the latest Realtek or Intel Wireless LAN driver (depending on your hardware).
- Restart your laptop after installation.
2. Enable Wireless Adapter in BIOS
Sometimes, BIOS updates disable wireless adapters by default:
- Restart your laptop and press Esc repeatedly, then F10 to enter BIOS.
- Navigate to Advanced > Built-in Device Options
- Ensure Wireless LAN is enabled
- Press F10 to save and exit
3. Check Device Manager
- Press Windows + X → Device Manager
- Expand Network adapters
- If you see a yellow warning or missing adapter, right-click and choose Scan for hardware changes
- If still missing, reinstall the driver as above
4. Run HP Support Assistant
- Download and install HP Support Assistant | HP® Support if not already installed
- Let it scan and automatically fix missing drivers or settings
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
