Hi @Hrusikesh,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Notebook - 14s-cr1005tu is not detecting Wi-Fi after a BIOS update; this is likely due to a driver conflict or a BIOS setting reset. Here's how to fix it:

1. Reinstall the Wireless Driver

2. Enable Wireless Adapter in BIOS

Sometimes, BIOS updates disable wireless adapters by default:

  • Restart your laptop and press Esc repeatedly, then F10 to enter BIOS.
  • Navigate to Advanced > Built-in Device Options
  • Ensure Wireless LAN is enabled
  • Press F10 to save and exit

3. Check Device Manager

  • Press Windows + X → Device Manager
  • Expand Network adapters
    • If you see a yellow warning or missing adapter, right-click and choose Scan for hardware changes
    • If still missing, reinstall the driver as above

4. Run HP Support Assistant

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
