HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ey0000 (54J83AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi all,

I'm loving my new HP Envy x360 (15-ey0000) except for the fact that you cannot wake up the computer from sleep when it is in tablet mode. I have to fold it back into laptop mode (would be nice to not have to put extra stress on the hinges and/or risk dropping the device from unnecessary folding). All the research I have done seems to indicate that this a basic design flaw from 2020 models and on that has still not been addressed or resolved with any firmware update. All of the workarounds seem to involve purchasing an unnecessary product. I do not plan on purchasing any Bluetooth devices like a mouse or keyboard because I simply don't need them for this device. Is HP doing anything to try and fix this? It seems like it would be an easy fix to have an option where double tapping the screen in tablet mode, or just allowing the power button to be active in tablet mode, wakes up the computer from sleep.

Thanks,

Mitchell
