OMEN by HP - 15-ce002nb

I have recently purchased a used Omen laptop. I want to install another OS on it, but can only do it with my external blu ray drive (with a DVD DL in it). The problem rises in the fact that the laptop doesn’t seem to want to boot from the external blu ray drive, so I can’t replace Windows 10. (Apparently factory installed)

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try disabling secure boot in the BIOS and then see if the Blu-Ray drive shows up in the F9 boot options menu.

If it is listed in two places (legacy and EFI) boot from the EFI DVD source, not the legacy one).

If you install Windows in legacy mode, you can't enable secure boot.
