I would like to know what is meant by the start and end dates in HP Product Warranty webpage after inserting the product serial number.  Is the start date the date of manufacture, the date registered..? What is meant by end date? Is the end date the date of first warranty expiration or the latest warranty expiry date?

I have noticed varying differences between start and end date on warranty page-4 months, 5 months, 13 months... for different units. It is confusing. Please educate here.

Hi

Difficult to say.

EU is 2 years from the seller, not necessarily the Maker.

US is probably a year, with the first 3 months being at a slightly better level than the remaining 9.

You are in Kenya?

So where-ever you live in the world, it is not the length of the warranty but the strength.

If you cannot enforce your rights to a repair etc then the guarantee is worthless.

Do you have an actual problem?
