HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cr0000 IDS Base Model

My work just purchased this laptop for me and I received it from Amazon on  8 AUG 2023.  So, how can my warranty be expired?  I registered it online!  Something is amiss with your system checker.  The dates that your system comes up with are 3/1/2022 to 4/4/2023.  How is this possible if I received the computer in August?  This kind of software goof-up is just plain wrong!  And, to top it all off,  I cannot chat with an agent because "supposedly" my warranty is expired.  I request that HP update my warranty status to "not expired" immediately!

All the best,

Dale

Hi @Supreme_Geek1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

To get the answer to this question, we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.
I would request you to reach out to our phone support with the invoice purchase date, they should be able to update the warranty.

For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.

Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
