Hi,
I would like to know how does the warranty program work on HP website.
I purchased my laptop on 12th Jun 2020 and when I tried to register the warranty online via HP website on the same day, it shows the warranty has already started since March 08 2020. Does this mean the laptop was used earlier?
How does the warranty work? shouldn't my date of purchase be the same warranty date as online since i tried to register it the same day?
If an HP specialist will answer, that will be great.

No, some retailers register machines when they come to their stores. Please call HP in your country and they will fix that for you. Please use the following phones list

Thank you sir for the information. In light to this, how can I identify if my laptop is a new one (I am the first user). Additionally, in regards to warranty, the local vendor receipt from where I purchased the laptop is the warranty time period? That means, in my scenario, I purchased on 12th Jun 2020 and since March 08th 2020 the warranty have started. So my warranty should be until 12th Jun 2021?

As I said above, please contact HP in your country directly and they will change warranty date for you to avoid hassle later.
