Warranty issue

HP Recommended

I have purchased hp 14s laptop on 11 Jun 2021 and when I checked the warranty, it shows 10 months warranty remaining. Is this the issue from retailer? Plz tell me what should I do now?

The only ISSUE here is that the warranty start date is set when the PC is BUILT, not when it is SOLD.  So, of course there would now be less than 12 months remaining.

You have to contact HP to register the device and that will reset the warranty date.  https://support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

Thanks dear for your answer. But I found that the McAfee trial also showing "trial ended since 40 days". Is this also activated by hp when pc is built?  Plz reply

Sorry, I don't know -- but my guess would be that any trial versions of software that come preloaded would not activate until you did the initial setup, because some are only 30 days -- and a PC can sit on a shelf or in a warehouse a lot longer than that.
