I got my laptop delivered yesterday (20 October, 2021) and booted it for the first time but got to know that warranty period is showing activated from 23 July, 2021 to 22 July, 2022 and only 9 months of warranty left. Please help me resolving this issue.

Hi:

For whatever reason they do it, HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.

So the more time the PC sits unsold, the less time remains on the warranty.

Watch the video below for how to get the warranty start and end dates adjusted.

Hi @avinashavee,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

For extended warrenty, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
