Warranty period

Hello, We bought a laptop two days back on amazon. Upon checking the warranty status, it says valid for 4 months.

Since the laptop was bought 2 days back, shouldn't the warranty be applicable for 12 months?

It was a new laptop, not refurbished or used one.

Hi

Register it with HP, and do the HP updates.

The warranty should then reset.

If in doubt please ask.

Thanks for the reply. I have done the registration with HP to no avail.

I tried all that is on the HP Support site. Not sure why they are so unresponsive.

If you have a sales receipt then perhaps the warranty can be adjusted accordingly.
