I've tried everything to get my webcam working but still it is not working. It only show a black screen ( and no, there is nothing in front of it ;))

It does show the little white light suggesting that it is not cut off power due to privacy. I did a systemrecovery but not the result that I wish. I reinstalled new BIOS drivers. ANYONE has the solution for me? 
My laptop is 1.5 year. Barely used. Due the coronacrisis I have to work from home and I really want to stay in contact with my colleague's via skype/zoom etc for what I really need the webcam.

Good luck to you. I have the same problem for over a year and HP are no help just give you the same responses that don't work. BTW my camera is a HP Truevision

I reviewed your post and I understand that the webcam is not working on your computer.
