This option was designed for laptops and might not be available for all PCs. (For example, PCs with InstantGo don't have the hibernate option.) Hibernate uses less power than sleep and when you start up the PC again, you’re back to where you left off (though not as fast as sleep).

Use hibernation when you know that you won't use your laptop or tablet for an extended period and won't have an opportunity to charge the battery during that time. First check to see if this option is available on your PC and if it is, turn it on.

More information:

Shut down, sleep, or hibernate your PC

Depending on your situation, you can select one or the other based on

In my case, I open at least 2 machines in front of me I only use this machine (I'm typing on it now) for this forum. I also have a machine for banking only and one machine for videos/photos editing. The reason: I do not want to pay for many software licenses.

Banhien I do know what you do mean and thanks for that it is are approciated you are really in what you do and you should be proud of yourself 10/10 rating wise to you but I am are using hibernate mode on the laptop because It takes less power and it does save the battery on the laptop and then I will not need to charge the battery on the laptop contstantly at all times.
