I am on the download page for my  laptops software drivers.  There are two BIOS options to download. What is BIOS vs BIOS-System Firmware? Which one to download to upgrade by BIOS? BIOS.png

They're just using different terms for the same thing.

 

Also, I would NOT do a BIOS update this way, but instead, run HP Support Assistant and let IT do the BIOS update.

Hi,
 I have issues since after Windows Update 1909 with HP Support Assistant updated my bios etc. After all these updates my Laptop restarts instead of shutting down when shut down button is clicked. This issue is draining my battery. I am out of warranty. I did a reset on my laptop using HP Recovery Manager but the issue still persists with the same BIOS version F.42.  I am running out of options to solve these issues that Windows and  HP Update caused.
